Mr. Johnnie Doc Everett Jr.

A home going celebration for Mr. Johnnie Doc Everett Jr. who passed away on May 11, 2025, will be held Saturday May 24, 2025, at 2pm, at Harmon Funeral Home 5002 North 40th Street Tampa, Florida 33610 with Rev. McGee, officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

In the year of 1969, on the 27th day of November, Johnnie Doc Everett Jr. was born to the parents of Johnnie Doc Everett and Thelma Preston.

Johnnie Doc Everett attended the Hillsborough County Public Schools. He was a dedicated member of Calvary Cross Road to Glory Pentecostal Church where he worked diligently around the church. On November 20, 2022, he was water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins.

Johnnie will always be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Johnnie was a remarkable individual whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds.

Johnnie is survived by his loving family, including his mother: Thelma Preston, children: Lila Herman and Curtis Everett, siblings: Fred Preston (Winnifred), Jeffery Daniels (Jacqueline), Jerome Akins, stepmother: Novelar Cherry, stepsister: Wanda Mills, Aunts: Ruth Howard, Jessie Belle Preston, Annie Mills, Mary Chambers, Alberta Sykes, Maxine Anderson and a vast network of loved ones and friends. Each person he touched carries with them a piece of his bright spirit.
