Mr. John H. Ingraham

 Mr. John H. Ingraham, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and dedicated veteran, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 88. Home going services will be held Saturday December 27, 2025 at Harmon Funeral Home 5002 North 40th Street Tampa, Florida 33610. The family Pastor will be in charge of services.


Born on January 12, 1937, in Perrine, Florida, John lived a full and meaningful life marked by service, entrepreneurship, and unwavering commitment to his family and community. A proud patriot, John served his country with distinction for over 20 years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant. After his military career, he continued his work with electronics, becoming a skilled Radar Technician for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). John later channeled his industrious spirit into entrepreneurship as a business owner. More than his professional achievements, John was a pillar in his neighborhood, known as a source of wisdom and a dedicated community supporter. He was a passionate boxing enthusiast and lived by a practical, resourceful "fix it before throwing it out" mentality, always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge.


Family Life John was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta Walton, and his siblings, George, Oscar, William, Margaret, Mary, Joseph, Barbara, and Betty.


He is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Smith, and his loving children: Susan Bowers (Tyrone), John Jr. (Cassandra), Kenneth (Velda), and Candace. He leaves behind his sisters, Estelle and Catherine, and a legacy of love and guidance for his nine grandchildren: Marquez, Tyrone, TeJay, Ashley, Travis, Preston, Kameron, Dominique, and Ryan, 10 great grand children and always growing number of neices, nephews, friends, peers and acquaintances.
