McAdoo, who passed away on November 8, 2025, will be held This Friday November 21, 2025 at 11am; viewing at 10am at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church 1006 West Cypress Street Tampa, Florida 33606 with Rev. Ms. Claudette T. McAdoo of Tampa, Florida, was born on August 13, 1938. She spent much of her life in Tampa and loved the Lord dearly. She was a woman of tremendous faith and a long-time member of the Mother Board at Beulah Baptist Institutional Church. Ms. Claudette loved sharing the word of God with whoever would listen, and she was an avid and ferocious reader of spiritual literature. As a young, beautiful woman, she loved reading, listening to gospel music, acting in plays and movies with her theatre group, and, above all, praising the Lord. She was an excellent Mother, a very good cook, and could be a "tough woman,". She loved to laugh and shared everything she had with her family during special times and holidays.
Ms. Claudette T. McAdoo is preceded in death by her father, Claudie Johnson; her mother, Jessie Emmons; her brother, Leroy

Emmons; and her dearest and most cherished cousin, Florestine Anderson.
Ms. Claudette leaves her family to carry on her precious memories: her three children, Edward Wayne (Vernetta) McAdoo, Sabrina (Felix) McAdoo, and Sonja LaVette McAdoo. Special mention to her ex-husband and long-time friend, Edward McAdoo. Her grandchildren are Sheri McAdoo, Edward (Jhonna) McAdoo Jr., and Andrea (Bryan) Tracy. Great-grandchildren: Quentin McAdoo, Langston Sutorus, Edward McAdoo III, Arya McAdoo, Aaron Tracy, and Allen Tracy. Her beloved nieces and cousins include Darlene Brown, a member of the Florida House of Representatives; Diane Hart; Gerald Emmons; Cheryl Anderson; Faye Henley; Herbert Emmons; Catherine Christie Alonzo (Joann) Fitzgerald; Raymond (Melviena) Fitzgerald; Walter Fitzgerald; Renea Fitzgerald Harper; and Her Sons. Many thanks to other loving family members and friends. Special thanks to the Youngblood Family, Creal Family, Graham Family, Staten Family, Brown Family, and the McAdoo Family of the great States of Florida and Georgia.
