 Home going services for Mr. David Simon Jr., who passed away on April 16, 2025, will be held Saturday April 26, 2025, at 2pm, at Oak Hill M. B, Church 4202 East Palifox Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Reverend Victor Ball, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

David Simon Jr. was born December 1, 1955, to the parentage of Lossie Ann Mitchell and David Simon Sr. He was a graduate of Chamberlain High School. He was a loving devoted son to his mother, and a loving father, and grandfather to his family. He was a friendly outgoing person who got along with everyone. He enjoyed family gatherings, eating good food, and having a lot of fun.

He was preceded in death by his Father David Simon Sr., Son Bryan Alan Simon Sr., and Grandmothers Essie Mae Green, and Emma Spikes.

David leaves to cherish in his memories: devoted wife Annierea Grace-Simon; mother Lossie Ann Mitchell; daughters Tyesha Simmons; Chauncey Holton(Kevin), Sade Simon(Louis), Lucrecia Lofton, and Xaria Daniels; sons Antonio Simon, and Lamarion Solomon; sister Cheryl Jacob(Jake); granddaughters Charkita, Racquel, Zy’Kira, Ke’Niyah, Ke’Lea, and Trinity; grandsons Charles Jr, Robert, Jadin, Ramon, Antonio, Ankwon, Anthony, Amari, Amarion, Kevin Jr, and Bryan Jr; 21 great-grandchildren; sister-n-law Dondrea Grace(Sheldon); aunts Eloise White, and Leila Spikes; uncles Johnny Spikes; George, and James Heard; cousins Carl and Michael Mosley, Stephanie Mitchell; nieces Calida Malone, and Shannon Anthony; nephews Danarius Jacob, and Znere Grace; great nephew Michael Malone Jr. special uncle Darryl Patrick, and a host of loving friends and family.
