Threatts who passed away on December 4, 2024, will be held Satureday December 21, 2024 at 3pm at Harmon Funeral Home.


Hazel Threatts was a native of Tampa, Florida, born August 29,1958 to the parentage of William
Wanser and Flora (Reese) Wanser.She was the 5th child of 9 children,. 5 brothers, Theopolis  Stewart, Wilbert Allen, William Wanser Jr. (twin brother of Hazel, Renwick Wanser and Myron Allen. 3 Sisters,. Nadine Wanser, Irene Wanser Johnson and Marvette Wanser.

Hazel was educated in the public schools of Hillsboro County.  After graduation Hazel enlisted in the United States Army Reserve for 6 years. Leaving the military, she moved to Utica NY and became a nurse for 9 years. Where Le visiting her family here in Tampa, she met, fell in love with, and married Herman G Threatts Sr, and the heavenly journey began. During their marriage Hazel became a member of Revealing Truth Ministries
where she found joy and peace.

Her memory will linger in the hearts of her husband Herman G. Threatts Sr. her brothers and sisters, neices, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and in-laws. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Visitation for Mrs. Hazel Anita Wanser Threatts will be held this Friday evening from 5pm until 7pm at Harmon Funeral Home. Friends are asked to arrive at 2:45pm on Saturday for the Home 

going celebration.

To my family.Although we have not met.Anita and I used to have the most beautiful, funny and loving conversations with her before she took sick.I may only known her for a short time but we had a life time bond and with that said she meant a lot to me and I too will miss her .She always said we were really twins , “Anita & Omeda”. I love you always until we meet again🙏, RIP
