Mr. Nicholas Ray Butler
Mr. Nicholas Ray Butler of Temple Terrace passed away on Tuesday evening January 28, 2025 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held this Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11 AM at Harmon funeral home 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610 with Apostle Andrew Holder of Zion Temple Holiness Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Nicholas was born in Champaign Illinois. He relocated to Tampa Florida in 1968 with his parents, Air Force Sgt. Andrew McIntyre Jr., and mother Shirley McIntyre along with his brother Mark Butler for an Air Force assignment at Mac Dill Air Force Base.
Nicholas graduated from Brandon High school class of 1978. After graduation he went to vocational trade school for certification as an air-conditioning and refrigeration repair technician. He worked at the University of South Florida for the housing maintenance department. He decided to retire at year ending December 31, 2024, 28 days later he was called home. We thank God for the time we got to share with him. He wanted to be here to see Super Bowl LIX and we wish he could. He loved sports he also was a very quiet person and will be sadly missed.
Nicholas is survived by his parents Andrew and Shirley McIntyre of Temple Terrace; brother Mark Butler of Temple Terrace; daughter Alexandria Butler of Brandon a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation for Nicholas Butler will begin at 10 AM on Friday morning followed by the home-going service. Friends are asked to arrive at 10:45 AM for the home-going service at Harmon Funeral Home. Harmon funeral home 813-626-8600 Harmon FH.com John Harmon LFDIC
