Affectionately known as "Feel-Good," Bobby Rogers Sheppard was a kind-hearted man whose

warmth, humor, and love touched the lives of many. He carried a deep love for his family,

friends, and the West Tampa community, and it is through that love that he will forever be

remembered.

Bobby was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His generous spirit and

joyful presence brought comfort and laughter to those around him. Whether sharing stories,

offering encouragement, or simply spending time with loved ones, Bobby made a lasting impact

on everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Duhart; his sister, Mary Jane McMahon; his

uncle, Sammie Kitchen; and his nephew, Dennis Cook.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved children: Latika Sheppard, Bobby Williams

(Monica Williams), and Beatrice Sheppard. brothers and sisters: Horace Sheppard, Yolanda

Burgess, Wilbert Sheppard, Valerie Sheppard, Henderson Sheppard, Linda Fernandez, and

Carlos Duhart.  Uncles Charles Jackson and Leon Jackson.

His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Dereka Turner, Anthony Sheppard,

Tikoria Burgess, Corey Burgess, Sanai'Jay Sheppard, Bobby Williams Jr. wife Haiya Williams,

D'Neajah Williams, Jaileyah Williams, Orehanna Scott, Hayden Scott, and Paris Sheppard.

He was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought him much pride and joy: Bobby

Williams III, Codi Morrow, and Ma'Lani Dye. A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear

friends, Bobby leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his loving spirit, infectious joy, and sense of

humor will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, strength, and

community will continue to inspire generations to come.

A celebration of life in memory our grandmother Ms. Vera Jones who passed on September 17,

2026 will be held Saturday October 17, 2026 at 11am at True Love Missionary Baptist Church

3519 East 9 th avenue Tampa, Florida 33605; Pastor James Richardson officiating. The committal

will follow.  Same day visitation begins at 10am.

Vera was more than a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. To so many people,

she was simply the neighborhood hero.

She was the person whose door was always open, the person who would make room for you.

She loved her family in a way that could be felt, and she never stopped showing up for the

people. You didn’t always have to ask Vera for help.

She was far from perfect, and she would probably be the first to tell you that. She had her own

struggles, her own battles, and her own story to live.

Her greatest treasures were her children and grandchildren. The memories we share with her

will become pieces of her that we carry forever.

Vera was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Levy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Lillie B. Travis; her stepmother, Sandra

Williams; her children, Charmanika “Nika” Williams, Allen Oliver, and Bettyann “Peaches”

Jones; her grandchildren, Jeremy Alex, Bryce,Roland( Mason)  Legacy, Denim,La’marcus, Isaac,

Isaiah; and her siblings, Willie Hagen( Denise Hagen), Nathaniel Levy(Ayesha Levy) , Natalie

Levy, Leandra Levy(Krystal Burney Levy), Erik Levy, and Joshua Carpenter.

Ms. Edwards was Lead inspector for Cypress Technology while also living her life as a faithful

Christian and tremendous care-giver to her family.

Ms. Annie Mae Edwards was preceded in death by her parents Roberta Edwards and Terrell

Edwards.

With love and gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life and

memory of Sarah Elizabeth Lasane who peacefully departed this

life on September 11, 2026 at Melech Hospice House at the age

of 91. She was a cherished mother, grandmother and friend and

her presence will deeply be missed. A celebration of life will take

place at First Baptist Church of College Hill on Saturday

September 26, 2026, at 10am; Pastor Evan Burrows officiating.

A committal will be made at the church.

Sarah was born on January 3, 1935 in Georgetown County, South

Carolina to the late Rebecca Elaine Davis LeSane and Ceasar

Gale LeSane. She was educated in the Georgetown County

school system. She relocated to Tampa Fl in 1974 where she

worked as a cook until she retired in 1993.She loved cooking and

gardening

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband Edward Burton and five brothers, James, Myers, Allen,

Howard, and Cortess Lasane, and three sisters Victoria, Lucille,

and Georgia Mae Lasane.

She is survived by her sister Virginia Sturdivant and loving

children Chris Grate, Darrell(Judy)Wilson, Michael Lasane, Phyllis

Lasane, Carolyn Hyman, Cheryl Lasane, Regina Jenkins, and

Tangerla Burton, grandchildren Ela’(Donnie)Fox, Desmon Wilson,

Tyrek Lasane, Clifton Lasane, Judith Lasane, Echicka Lasane,

Erica Lasane, Muhammad Lasane, Susanne Lasane, Reva

Cooper, Mignon Cooper, Stephanie Lasane, Cherrell Cochrane,

Mother Irene Capers Middleton

Home going services for Mother Irene Capers Middleton who passed away on September 6,

2026 will be held Saturday September 19, 2026, at 11 A.M., at Victory AME Church 5202 South

86 th Street Tampa, Florida 33619, Dr. McRae Mangum, Pastor; Dr. Travien Capers, Pastor of Zion

Benevolent Baptist Church Hopkins, South Carolina, officiating. Interment will be made in Rest

Haven Memorial Park.

Mother Irene Capers Middleton was born March 15, 1926 in Islandton, South Carolina to

Hannah Buckner and Sam Capers where she attended public schools. Mother Middleton moved

to Tampa over 65 years ago and retired as a package handler from Singleton Seafood. Mother

Middleton was proceeded in death by husband Rufus, son Barney, brothers; Luther Capers and

Marion Capers, sisters; Luetta Mitchell, Evelyn Mitchell, and Verlethia Capers and great

grandchild Dominick.

She leaves to cherish in her memory daughters 2 daughters; Vera and Shirley (Bruce), daughter

in law Marie, 2 Sons; Ralph (Jackie) and Connie. Brother Herman Capers (Patsy) of Islandton, SC.

15 grandchildren; Olethia, Frederick (Lilly), Demetrius (Sharae), Nicole, David, Xavier, Micah,

Jordane, Jamel, Tramel, Ramel, Talissa, Carleina, Xzabrionna, and Elin. 22 great grandchildren;

DeOnte, Frederonia, Destynee, DeShaun, Jacori, Jachol, Jalaceia, Sa’Reyah, Sha’Jaiyah,
