Mr. Willie C. Tucker
A Home-going celebration for Mr. Willie C Tucker who passed away on January 18, 2025 will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1 PM at Harmon funeral home 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610 with Elder Willie C Tucker Junior officiating. A committal will be made at the Chapel.
Mr. Willie C. Tucker (Bud) was born June 18, 1936, to the late Vanessie and Rosco Tucker. Born in Eddison GA. Mr. Willie Tucker later moved to Tampa, Florida with his parents when he was a child where he began to plant his roots.
Willie held many titles. Some knew him as a brother, a cousin. a uncle, a son, But, the greatest title he held was FATHER. Willie enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest. He often said, “that he didn't have any time to let the grass grow under his tires.” He traveled back and forth from Tampa to Miami. Willie was an easy-going man that loved to listen to his blues. All he needed was some B.B. King and if it was a Sunday he would have his “Mighty Clouds of Joy” Playing along with the “Canton Spirituals”. As his was raise in the Spirit and kept Jesus close to his heart.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Vanessie Tucker, father Rosco Tucker, Wife- Mildred Singleton. brothers: James (JB) Tucker, Bobby Tucker, Sister: Emma Drew, and one living Sister: Rossie George.
Bud leaves to cherish his memories his daughters: Delores Tucker, Vanessa Tucker(passed) Tammy Tucker, Pamela Tucker, Son: Charles Tucker (Silvia), Darrold Tucker (MeMe), Willie “Jr.” Tucker (Sherise) Willie “James” Rickey Tucker () Anthony Tucker (Yvette) and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews' family members and friends that loved and adored him dearly. So, as the sunsets on Mr. Willie “Bud” Tucker find peace in knowing he loved us all.
